Dating when a single parent
Rushing to introduce your new partner to your child may not only affect your relationship with your partner but it might also affect your child in the event that the relationship does not work out.
There is no tag-team parenting when you are single and have your children. I know you need some social interaction with other adults.
But, when your children are with you, as much as possible, be there for them.
The right person will accept and appreciate you just the way you are. Most single parents are afraid of opening up about being a single parent to their date due to the stigma surrounding single parenting.
The problem of lying or not being completely honest about being a parent is that it will cause issues later when your date discovers you have a child.
